I’m Rebecca. I’m starting a specialty food company called Deluxe Foods. I’ve been in and out of the food world for the last 20 years–I’ve been a catering manager, a barista, a fine-dining restaurant hostess, a tea server, editor of the Amazon.com cookbook and kitchen stores, and a cookbook agent. This is my first time as a food producer. Someone thought I should blog about the process of starting the business, so here we are.
Deluxe Foods jams, jellies, chutneys, and sauces are created from peak-of-the-season, organic, or sustainably grown fruits and vegetables from Washington. You will be able to buy them this summer. Hungry yet?
